Kale chips have become quite popular. There are endless brands that sell them. But, why not make your own? Not only is it inexpensive, but you have the freedom to choose the specific ingredients that you want. This is a great snack and a healthy one.

What Kind of Kale is Best?

Any variety of kale is perfectly fine! I like Dino kale the best, but I used curly kale for this recipe. Depending on your preference for appearance. Curly kale has more of a frilly appearance and Dino kale has a leathery appearance. I suggest trying both to see which you’d prefer.

Tips for Successful Kale Chips

1) Spread them out so they bake/air fry evenly

2) Dry the leaves completely to avoid soggy chips

3) Don’t overdo it with the time because it can result in bitter chips

4) Use a light hand with the oil and don’t overdo it or they won’t crisp up
