Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 10 minutes | Total time: 15 minutes | Servings: 4

Quinoa is such a FLEXIBLE grain! Usually, I enjoy eating my Quinoa with my favorite seasonings or I’ll make it very cheesy. But, I wanted to go in a different direction with this amazing grain and show a healthier option that can be eaten for Breakfast or Brunch. Not only that, this is so easy to make and yummy!

  • For this recipe, I wanted to add my favorite berries – Blackberries and Raspberries. Both are a great source of antioxidants and are shown to contain helpful substances that boost your immunity, protect against chronic disease, such as cancer, heart disease, certain defects and more.

  • Berries are hands down amazing and the bioactive substances in these fruits give them these VIBRANT appearances.

  • For this balanced bowl, I also added Sunflower seeds and Pumpkin seeds. Pumpkin seeds in particular are VERY high in Magnesium, help with your heart health, help lower your blood sugar and are great in improving bladder and prostate health.

  • Sunflower seeds are high in healthy fats and contain nutrients that can support your immune system and will boost your energy levels. Overall it is a great source of Vitamin B1, Vitamin B6, Vitamin, Iron, Copper, Selenium, Zinc, Potassium and more!

  • This Quinoa Breakfast Bowl balanced out really well and is a great meal for a morning boost of energy or something to keep you full throughout the day.
